Natural Rhythm, Inc. - Website Designers

Shop Talk by Kitty Kaufman

Paul Rodriguez has a simple mission: "To help my clients communicate with their customers in the most effective way possible." As president of Natural Rhythm, Inc., Rodriguez commands a team of web professionals including developers, programmers, writers and designers. Their job: to create marketing programs for small businesses that integrate website development, print layout and data handling.

The busy Los Angeles native fosters "ongoing organic relationships" which entails "looking at a problem and trying to figure out the solution together" with an eye to budget guidelines. What is natural rhythm? "It's the relationship between us," he says. Although the company was formerly known as New England Print and Web, Rodriguez says this new name more aptly describes what and how they do it. Indirectly it also refers to his love of guitar and singing.

Rodriguez works primarily with businesses whose gross sales are under a million dollars. For those companies looking to outsource their website and print work, Natural Rhythm is, well, a natural. He begins with the basics: "Why do you think you need a website? And then we ask them where do they see the company in a year, in five years and in ten? That's also the point where they reveal the extent of their marketing plan. And if they don't have one, we start assembling the pieces that go into putting one together," he said.

How do you get your website noticed? Rodriguez says step one is the domain name. "We help you find and create a domain name. Next, you may choose to move into direct mail and email campaigns. Of course, one of the most important steps in the process is optimizing a website for easy retrieval by search engines and that's part of our design process. Finally, we register your website with major search engines."
